Services include: Large inventory and rotables solutions Aircraft disassembly and part-out Aircraft storage and parking Composite aircraft structure repair Avionics, instrument, and accessory repair Aircraft demolition and recycling services Primary responsibilities Responsible for inspecting, repairing and overhauling avionic equipment and other units that the Repair Station is rated for. Applies knowledge of avionic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment operation. Responsible for assisting with troubleshooting and repairs. Troubleshoots and repairs avionic equipment and other units to the component level. Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. Assists and trains other technicians in repairing units. Monitors condition of repair shop ground support equipment and advises management of any needed upgrades or repairs. Required Skills: Associates Degree – Basic Electronics Minimum of 10 years previous aircraft maintenance and electronic troubleshooting experience. FCC license preferred, but not required. A thorough knowledge of avionic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes. Military experience preferred Must be able to work well in a team environment and communicate with co-workers Education and Professional Qualifications: Must be able to work with small tools and have good manual dexterity. Must be able to troubleshoot problems to the component level and use problem solving skills in repairing units. Working knowledge of aircraft ground support test equipment needed. Must be able to work well both individually and with other co-workers Must be able to read and comprehend schematic diagrams and component maintenance manuals. Salary: $62,000 - $72,000 a year
