Job Summary:
Responsible for facilitating public and internal partnerships with the purpose of enhancing relations with ADOTs internal and external stakeholders; for promoting elements of the Partnering Program such as building and maintaining productive working relationships, effective issue resolution, monitoring and feedback, team alignment and communication protocols. Provides technical and administrative expertise, and program guidance and accountability to ensure quality services are delivered. Requires travel which may include overnight stays.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:
Schedule, facilitate and complete follow up documentation for public and internal partnership meetings and construction partnering workshops to include all administrative functions before and after the workshop, facilitation of the workshop to encourage team member participation and to reach consensus by all partners on project related matters.
Follow-up with team members and leadership of existing partnerships, providing technical and administrative expertise and program guidance to ensure quality services are delivered and maintained. Coordinate and analyze reporting of the progress of partnerships and various actions for ADOT leadership and management review.
Based on customer feedback and agency partnering needs, assess opportunities to enhance the partnering program through continuous improvement efforts in the form of new services, tools and technology, along with other process improvement efforts such as surveys and collection of best practices.
Instruct and train teams on use of Partnering elements and tools; work with teams to identify problems, analyze information, and develop and implement solutions; identify barriers to success and solicit help from leadership. Interact with teams and project leaders to capitalize on constructive feedback and seek professional growth.
Create new public and/or internal partnerships. At the direction of the Partnering Administrator, determine partnering services required for each team served and execute the plan of establishing the partnership.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge:
- Understanding facilitation and industry practices in team development, relationship building, establishing trust and reaching consensus to address complex issues.
- Understanding of how teams effectively identify problems, and challenges and develop effective resolution strategies.
Skill:
- Employing methods to lead high-level meetings that bring teams to consensus on goals, expected outcomes and resolution of complex problems
- Steering conversations about complex challenges to stay on track and reach consensus on resolution.
- Google Workspace.
Ability:
- Develop understanding of team purpose to effectively plan meetings and follow up strategies based on group needs.
- Manage the complexities of large, executive level meetings, and leverage existing resources and expertise within a team consisting of members from multiple organizations.
- Glean vital elements of conversation and reflect back to the team for comprehension and accuracy of reporting.
Selective Preference(s):
Four years of team facilitation, meeting coordination, training, public speaking, project management, which included team/consensus building, report writing and presentation, time management and organizational analysis.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication or closely related field may substitute for two years of experience.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
