Job Description:
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for imaging purposes.
• Operate imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and image quality.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret and analyze imaging results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory standards.
Education and Certification Requirements:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) required.
• State licensure or eligible for licensure in Kansas.
• Prior experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
