## Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced music teacher to provide personalized in-home tutoring lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. This is a 1099 contract position, allowing you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality music education. ## Responsibilities - Provide one-on-one music instruction to students in their homes. - Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and goals of each student. - Teach a variety of music subjects, including but not limited to, instrumental (piano, guitar, violin, etc.), vocal, music theory, and composition. - Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to inspire and motivate students. - Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods and goals as needed. - Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and any areas for improvement. - Maintain punctuality and professionalism during all scheduled lessons. - Manage your own schedule and coordinate lesson clients with Vivace Music, LLC ## Requirements - Proven experience as a music teacher, with expertise in one or more musical instruments or disciplines. - Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Passion for teaching and a commitment to student development. - Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes. - A degree in music, music education, or a related field is preferred but not required. - Background check will be required. **Compensation:** - Competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications. - As a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for managing your own taxes and benefits.
