Job Description Summary
At Nationwide, the Office of Internal Audit is a place where future leaders are developed. Our Internal Audit team is a valued business partner helping management to see risks around the corner. We look for critical thinkers who are intellectually curious, enjoy problem solving, and are excited about emerging technology, such as data analytics and machine learning. Our interns collaborate with leaders and associates across all of Nationwide.
Job Description
As an Internal Audit intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about Nationwide’s business operations and key audit concepts, expanding your communication and problem-solving skills, and even test your hand with new technologies. This internship will have periodic company paid travel visits to our Columbus, Ohio office throughout the 12 week experience.

Qualifications
• Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data & Analytics, Information Systems within 2-3 semesters of graduation
• Academic excellence (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred)
• Experiences that demonstrate leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program. At its sole discretion, Nationwide determines whether to offer sponsorship for qualifying positions based on business need and budget. However, it is not usually available for entry level roles.
We currently anticipate accepting applications until 10/03/2024. However, we encourage early submissions, as the posting may close sooner if a strong candidate slate is identified before the deadline.

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.
The national hourly pay range for Nationwide Internships is: $21 - $50
