Description Minimum Qualifications of Education and  Experience:
• Must possess a high school diploma/GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive in the state of Minnesota.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience working with events, concessions and bars
Nature of Work:
Under the direct supervision of the Food and Beverage Coordinator, Premium Services assists in the day-to-day business functions of the Event Center as it relates to concessions, bars and suite catering in the facility. Assists with all Event Center events as the schedule demands.

Duties / Responsibilities Primary Essential Work Functions:
• Oversee Premium Service areas of the facility including but not limited to corporate suites for hockey games and concerts, premium club events, company banquets and meetings.
• Assist with training new suite servers; provides coordination and oversight to other event labor as needed.
• Oversees all corporate suite orders and execution of requested product and services.
• Oversees events in progress, resolves operational and procedural problems when able to. Reports any changes in original event requirements and food & beverage requests; assures facilities are vacated at the appointed time.
• Assists in operation of concession stands and bar services at events in all Event Center operated facilities with Events Coordinator guidance (Convention Center, Arena, Grand Hall, Vetter Stone Amphitheater).
• Ensures all concession stands, commissary, suite catering, bars, store rooms, coolers, and freezers are kept clean, neat, and sanitized using proper cleaning products, and that all products are stored properly and rotated for freshness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Performs the physical/mental demands and work environment requirements for this position.
• Effective and respectful communication and interactions with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations and citizen customers.
• Act as the building representative as needed.
• Work with other departments effectively to allow for smooth events for clients.
• Possess the ability to handle multiple details and events at one time.
• Handle and maintain stress levels.

• Attendance during regularly scheduled work hours and outside regular hours as necessary.

Qualifications / Conditions of Employment Conditions of Employment:
• Must possess a valid license to drive in the state of Minnesota, and be able to drive.
• Must successfully complete a background examination.
• Must be available to work normal office hours, plus various night, overnight, holiday, and weekend hours.
• Must possess a current cell phone number that can be accessed by building management personnel for contact purposes.
• Must comply with organizational and departmental policies.
• Must comply with data practices policies and standards relative to not public data. Any access to not public data should be strictly limited to accessing the data that are necessary to fulfill the employment responsibility. While data are being accessed, incumbent should take reasonable measures to ensure the not public data are not accessed by individuals without a work reason. Once the work reason to access the data is reasonably finished the not public data must be properly stored according to city policy and the Minnesota Statutes.
Hours of Work General working hours will be Thursday-Sunday, 20 hours per week. This position requires various evening, weekend, and holiday hours based on event schedules. Hours will be adjusted accordingly to meet service needs.
