Monitoring and documenting vital signs: CNAs regularly measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates. Providing mobility assistance: CNAs assist residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to maintain their comfort and prevent complications like bedsores. Responding to resident needs: CNAs promptly address resident requests, provide emotional support, and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff. Supporting mealtime activities: CNAs assist residents during meals, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration according to their individual dietary needs.
