As a BAS Salesperson, you will be responsible for driving sales of Honeywell’s Building Automation Systems across designed territories. You will engage with architects, engineers, contractors and facility managers to understand their needs, provide expert consultation, and deliver tailored BAS solutions that exceed expectations. Our Core Values Perseverance / Integrity / Family / Stability / Competency Roles and Responsibilities Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking Consultative Selling: Understand customer pain points and propose comprehensive BAS solutions that align with their operational goals and budget Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers Solution Presentation: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Honeywell BAS offerings Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales process from initial contact to closing deals Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to position Honeywell as a preferred BAS provider Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in building automation systems, HVAC, or related fields Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with BAS technologies such as HVAC controls, energy management systems, and integration platforms Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Customer Focus: Dedication to understanding customer needs and providing exceptional service and support Current, valid driver’s license Preferred Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or related field Physical Requirements Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
