Job Summary: The Culinary Services Supervisor is responsible for the weekly ordering of food and supplies for the department, training new employees and to help ensure the quality standards set by State/Federal/Benedictine are met on a daily basis for the guests of the facility. Responsibilities: - Orders all food and kitchen supplies on a weekly basis. - Assists with directing, monitoring, identifying, and delegating tasks to culinary staff while holding staff accountable for assigned duties and responding appropriately to emergencies. - Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the sanitation standards to prevent food borne illness. - Knowledge and practice of guest data entry. - Fills in when needed in dining room and kitchen. - Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company. Qualifications Required: -High School Diploma or equivalent -Food production -Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
