Description Experienced, hands-on position performing duties related to building construction, building maintenance, building preventative maintenance, and systems operation and maintenance requirements.

Examples of Duties Systems operational support  includes, but is not limited to: pools, irrigation, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, pumps, motors, roofs, doors (manual and overhead), fountains, and fencing.
Buildings include all municipal owned structures,  including  but  not  limited to, single or multistoried office buildings, picnic shelters, rest rooms, storage buildings, recreational facilities; Interior and exterior maintenance; parking lot, walk maintenance to include repairs, sealing and striping operations.
Typical Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS (Required at time of application):
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or other job-related field, AND
• Minimum 4 yrs. work-related experience in Facilities Maintenance (building construction, maintenance, operations emphasis) OR
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in the field of facilities maintenance, PLUS
• 5 yrs. experience in the field of facilities maintenance (building construction, maintenance, operation emphasis)
• Valid driver’s license required
Valid CDL, Class B or higher, required within 11 months of employment.
An equivalent amount of education and/or experience is acceptable. Supplemental Information COMPENSATION/BENEFITS : Pursuant to applicable policy, with minimum starting pay as follows:
Building Maintenance/Operations Specialist: $28.0756/hr.+ Benefits
