Responsible for effectively managing the warehouse, distribution, and certain delivery functions for the company and its affiliates within the service territory of Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, and Missouri.
Responsibilities
• Managing the delivery schedule to outlying exchanges and garages.
• Manages process to order and maintain inventory levels as required for operations and construction activities for company.
• Accurately monitor and account for inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor inventory control procedures for multiple company locations.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of inventory.
• Supervision of non-exempt employees.
• Travel required: 20%
Qualifications
• Demonstrate knowledge in a technical or specialized area as required.
• Plan, implement and evaluate work in area of responsibility to achieve departmental objectives.
• Implement new approaches within areas of responsibility in order to streamline processes and increase productivity.
• Demonstrate leadership, development, and coaching to employees in areas of responsibility, earns respect and trust, and demonstrates a commitment to excellence.
• Support a high-performance culture, set challenging performance expectations and requirements, provide feedback to employees, and meet deadlines.

• Prioritize work necessary to meet departmental goals to provide services to our customers.

• Must possess the abilities to take initiative, identify and set priorities, multi-task, and handle stress with patience and professionalism.
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials.
• Strong MS Excel capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
Education:
• BA or equivalent or 6 years’ minimum experience in supply chain management preferred including 3 years managerial experience.
