Plant Capital Project Engineer
Manpower Engineering andis seeking a Project Engineer for our client in the Owensboro, KY area. The plant is a high-speed processing and packaging facility. Direct hire position. SUMMARY: The Project Engineer is responsible for capital projects at the plant. This includes generating capital project submissions, managing implementation of approved CapEx projects, and servicing other plant engineering needs with a focus on safety, quality and cost.
Who we are seeking:
• Engineering degree required. Mechanical preferred. Chemical, Electrical could work.
• Experience managing projects of at least $1M, preferably larger
• Experience delivering projects in factory production environments is required. Food or bottling plant experience is desired but not required.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all associates in the plant.
• Ability to travel within the United States and internationally.
Be prepared to travel periodically but not regularly
• Must be able to work with and manage consultants and contractors.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project and Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) desired but not required
