Practice Overview
Our client is a privately owned, full-service animal hospital committed to providing the highest quality care for its patients. Serving the community for 20 years, they are proud to create lasting relationships with their clients and partnerships with the local SPCA, human society, and animal control. Their newly renovated facility offers full, in-house diagnostic capabilities, digital imaging, and dental and surgical services, including soft tissue and orthopedics. What You’ll Be Working On
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
• Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
• Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
• Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
• Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
• Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
• Be licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Virginia
• A minimum of two to three years of experience is required
• Ability to independently see routine surgeries is required
• Experience or interest in surgical cases and works in emergency medicine is a PLUS!
• Has experience working in a busy practice and has good surgical skills is preferred
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
