Remote School Psychologist Opportunity in Kansas VocoVision is looking for a committed School Psychologist to partner with Kansas school districts for the 2024-2025 academic year. This virtual position allows you to provide essential support to students, helping them thrive and succeed from a remote setting.
Position Highlights: • Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Counseling and Support: Provide individual and group counseling services to address academic, social, and emotional issues.
• Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to create supportive educational environments and offer guidance on classroom management and behavioral interventions.
• Program Development: Design and implement programs to promote mental health, prevent bullying, and address issues such as substance abuse.
Qualifications:
• Masters degree in School Psychology
• Active Kansas Psychologist license
• Minimum 2 years of school experience
• Virtual therapy experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet (no Chromebooks or tablets)
Pay & Benefits:
• 1099 Position: Guaranteed weekly hours, potential tax benefits, and consistent hourly rate ($40-55/hr based on experience)
• Support: Clinical and technical team on standby
Interview Process:
• Virtual Interview with the School District: Typically 20-30 minutes, with offers extended within 24-48 hours
