Renewable Water Resources, a special purpose district created for the protection of public health and water resources, is seeking a successful candidate for the following position. The Asset Analyst will support ReWa's Asset Management Program, including the current Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system – Cityworks and ESRI GIS. This position requires extensive flexibility, innovation, resourcefulness, and the ability to function in a team environment. The Asset Analyst will provide advanced technical and professional support activities, applying technical knowledge, workflow analysis, design, data input, reporting, and documentation. The role involves end-user training, technical support, and related field and office activities. The Asset Analyst will also play a key role in project management and the development of Power BI reports for asset performance insights. The successful candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, other departments/divisions, and the general public. Essential Skills and Experience: Pay Range- $59,600-$86,500/year The successful candidate must have: · Must possess a valid state driver’s license. · Requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in Computer Science or Information Systems or similar work experience in MS SQL Server database support role. · Working knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems to support utilities/public applications. Direct Cityworks EAM experience preferred. · Experience in administering SQL Server database(s). · Proficient in MS Office Applications. · Extensive experience in report development and deployment using dashboard application(s) Position Responsibilities – Essential: The selected candidate must be able to: The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the position as necessary. · Supports and assists with EAM System Administrator tasks as assigned. · Leads, supports, and assists with maintenance and data entry into the EAM System, ensuring data integrity and appropriate integration with supporting application(s). · Assists with schedules, and communicates EAM system updates in coordination with IT. · Assists with ensuring the EAM provides a means for managing all asset information across the organization. · Works with functional and technical teams as a technical expert in Cityworks SQL Server databases and schemes. · Contributes to projects and software configuration by analyzing, designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting service and work orders and generating relevant reports and other outputs. · Helps lead project meetings and works with stakeholders to determine realistic schedules. · Troubleshoots and resolves problems with applications. Documents system problems and resolutions for future troubleshooting. · Contributes and performs training for end-users for reporting mechanisms and how to make actionable decisions from data. · Assists in developing and discussing levels of service to ensure assets meet client needs and comply with regulatory requirements. · Assists with implementing policies, procedures, and process changes required for successful Asset Management performance across the organization. · Investigates application problems and needs, analyzes root cause, and determines possible solutions. · Conducts workflow analysis and designs to optimize asset management processes and ensure seamless integration with Cityworks and ESRI GIS. · Participates in gathering project requirements, project development, implementation, installation, and testing of application software. · Analyzes and evaluates present or proposed business procedures to define system-specific needs. · Follows project management standards and change management protocols for effective project leadership. · Prepares detailed documentation, flow charts, and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. · Works as a team member with other technical staff to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems. · Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement asset management strategies and improvements. · Maintains and documents security for all application(s) and interfaces. · Investigates unusual complex conditions, analyzes problems, gathers pertinent information, and develops and analyzes data to evaluate operational impacts to the distribution system, evaluating alternate solutions, and recommending or taking action to resolve problems expeditiously and economically. · Serves as a liaison between the EAM User Community and the AM Technical group. · Provides expertise in report writing and reporting dashboard applications and related tools. · Writes technical procedures and documentation for the applications, including operations, user guides, etc. · Produces technical documentation for new and existing applications.
