GREAT PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY! Are you looking for a part-time position that offers great flexibility? ProGrowth Bank is currently hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) at its Nicollet location - 703 Third Street, Nicollet MN. This position requires an individual with solid customer service skills. Through training which we will provide, this person must become proficient in handling various and numerous over-the-counter banking transactions, obtain solid product knowledge and display strong sales ability. Hours Various hours during Monday through Friday, likely mid-morning to early afternoon. However schedules may be adjusted to accommodate our lobby hours. Rotating Saturday morning shift (less than once per month) 20 hour average work week (<1,000 hours annually) This position is not benefit eligible Opportunity for schedule flexibility Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and customer service skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive checks and cash for deposit into accounts, verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement, and enter deposits into computer records Cash checks and process withdrawals, pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances Interview customers to evaluate needs and explain available financial services such as savings and checking accounts, certificates of deposit, savings bonds, IRA’s, and investor accounts Answer the phone and provide phone support for remote deposit services Promote other services such as consumer and mortgage loans and IRA’s certificates of deposit Analyze customer’s needs and recommend referrals to other financial services within the bank Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with current banking regulation(s) Resolve customer problems quickly and accurately Receive mortgage, consumer loan and other payments. Ensure that the payment matches the balance due Generate customer receipts Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies to the manager on duty Interact professionally with external and internal customers, making concentrated effort to solve customer problems Resolve customer complaints in a tactful, effective manner, and explain financial institution policies Responsible for meeting individual sales goals Equal Employment Opportunity Employer Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week Benefits: On-the-job training Shift: Day shift Application Question(s): Does your work availability allow you to work at least 4 hours a day?
