Job Summary: Sun Windows and Doors Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable Production Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our high-quality windows and doors are produced efficiently and safely. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work with machinery and tools, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of windows and doors. Use air-powered tools and hand tools to assemble products according to specifications. Accurately read and interpret tape measures, blueprints, and work orders. Perform heavy lifting and material handling to move products and components. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Assist in other areas of the production process as needed. Basic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Experience with operating machinery and air-powered tools. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in the window and door industry.
