Kitchen Saver Custom Cabinet Renewal is seeking a detail oriented service and measure technician to join our growing organization. POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to accurately complete measurements for installation of newly acquired jobs and provide warranty service after installation to ensure customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Evaluates jobs for installation and customer service issues. Makes appropriate recommendations for resolution and ensures issues are resolved in a timely manner. Reviews job paperwork. Measures cabinets and countertops for material orders. Makes necessary templates. Inspects installations to ensure jobs are being installed according to company standards. Communicates problems to the Installation Manager. Conducts service calls to repair any plumbing and/or kitchen remodeling installation issues. Ensures company vehicle is serviced regularly, maintained in good working condition, and kept neat, clean and secure at all times. Maintains a valid drivers’ license and a clean record in order to operate company-owned vehicles. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: Helps monitor company materials and supplies to ensure they are being used appropriately and efficiently. Assists with installer training for purposes of cross training installers on measuring jobs. Assists with all installation/service functions of the assigned territory. Practices compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to meet business needs. ABILITIES AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to drive vehicle for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day). Must be proficient in reading & writing, using the English language Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must have the ability to work independently Must have competency with computers & other electronic office/business equipment Must have a sense of urgency and react quickly and decisively to the needs of the business. EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must Complete and pass a background check, physical, drug test and human performance evaluation. Complete on the job installation and service training prior to assuming responsibilities. Must be at least 21 years of age. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have Lead Renovator Certificate.
