Our castings are found on trains, semi trucks, fire trucks and agriculture equipment. You’ll find our castings in hospitals, homes, businesses and fields. Starting Pay: Up to $23.31/Hour – with 3 pay increases within your first year Available Shifts: 2nd Shift – 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Monday through Friday) 3rd Shift – 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (Sunday night through Friday morning) Paid Overtime/Shift Differential Production Team Members work in one of two areas Casting Team Members create castings through producing molds, cores and pouring iron. Positions work with technical information and are responsible for chemical and temperature testing along with quality assurance for a successful product. Finishing Team Members are the final set of eyes before the product goes to our customers. They are responsible for the finishing process of iron casting using quality assurance measures and detailed process to meet customer’s specifications. Team Members are responsible for overseeing product quality through degating, sorting, grinding, setup of equipment and completing final checks. Production Team members receive on-the-job training for understanding, implementation, programming, and functionality of their specific process and station and will become experts in their field. Team Members will also become OSHA 10 and Forklift Certified. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee and operate machinery used in the production process Follow specific process and procedures as programmed Data Entry for product testing and production Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Assure that the weekly production schedule is completed on time Observe Equipment for malfunction Assure work practices are within the guidelines of OSHA standards.
