Human Resources Specialist
Job Description:
The Human Resources Specialist will handle and provide support for various HR employee programs within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate New Hire Orientation/Post Orientation
• Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion.
• Maintains listing of approved hires and track terminations with proper communication with both.
• Effectively communicate with internal employees and managers regarding Human Resources processes.
• Have a strong understanding of Cambria's benefits and be able to answer questions.
• Effectively file forms in personnel files, distribute mail, assist with unemployment claims.
• Participate in meetings and assist in improving processes.
• Ad hoc projects assigned depending on business needs.
• Escalate issues to the Human Resources Manager when necessary.
• Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problem
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail in composting, typing, proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality and sense of urgency.
• Excellent customer relations skills, with the ability to relate effectively and sensitively.
• Strong problem solving skills and a desire to partner with key stakeholders to improve processes.
• Positive and self-motivated individual who can work independently.
• Have a basic knowledge of employment laws.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: 0-3 years experience in Human Resources
Systems : Strong computer proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Workday (Google Docs a plus)

Managerial Responsibilities: N/A
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel. May need to travel to MN Cambria locations.
Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use
