Coiler
Overview
Cold Wound Coiler Operator is responsible for operating cold wound coiling machines to produce high-quality coils. They will set up and operate coiling equipment, monitor the coiling process, and inspect finished coils. The Cold Wound Coiler Operator will collaborate with the production team to optimize efficiency and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Set up and operate cold wound coiling machines to produce coils to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor coiling process and adjust as needed to ensure product quality.
• Inspect finished coils for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency.
Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
