A regional hospital is seeking a radiologist for locum tenens coverage.
This riverfront city is gorgeous so bring your camera and an appetite! Downtown Owensboro has many shops and fun places to eat like Azzip Pizza and Bar Louie, which also has live music.
The position requires 80% interventional radiology (IR) and 20% diagnostic radiology (DX), working onsite from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with weeknight and weekend call duties. There is a possibility of performing Y-90 procedures, though this is not common. The role involves handling a general list and general procedures with specific turnaround times: 60 minutes for STAT, 15 minutes for Stroke, 60 minutes for Emergent, 60 minutes for Urgent, and 1440 minutes for Routine cases. The expected volume is 40 RVUs, and the MD is expected to read from the general list, including PF, CT, MRI, and US, in between cases.

Call Ratio/Schedule: overnight call after 4 PM; 24 Hr weekend call
