Responsible for food and order preparation, along with the production of all food items. Must be able to cook and prepare all food orders, following standard practices and procedures set up for patient room service and the Dogwood Café

Core Job Responsibilities
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and café area.
• Responsible for closing duties in kitchen and café.
• Responsible for some dish duties.
• Prep and prepare all food item to standard recipes and menus.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to concentrate on tasks that require accuracy in a busy and noisy environment.
• Must be able to work as a member of a team with different personalities.
• Must be able to communicate well with customers and cope with demands of customers calmly.
Exposure Level
Category I - Position includes tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues.
Category II - Position includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, but employment may require performing unplanned category I tasks.
Category III - Position includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. This position would never be required to perform category I tasks.
