(some flexibility available) What you will bring to our team: The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or other related field, have a great work ethic, attention to detail and be eager learn and gain experience in HR and an administrative work setting. Your fresh ideas and outlook will sharpen us as well! Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business or Psychology or other related field. Valid driver’s license and meet qualifiers to be insured by EON, Inc.’s vehicle insurance provider. Must not be disqualified by appropriate criminal background studies. Meet the physical requirements as outlined in this position description. Able to read and write in English. To perform work under the supervision of the Human Resource Director. The HR Intern is responsible for delivering assistance and administrative support to the HR and Administrative departments on various projects. To clearly facilitate accurate and immediate communication with coworkers and provide appropriate assistance to employees, customers and individuals served. To assist with general administrative duties. To work in cooperation with the Administrative Specialist covering phones and reception area if away from desk or out of the office. To sort, open and/or distribute mail as requested. To oversee, take requests and update conference rooms and vehicle calendars. To meter postage for outgoing mail, regulate postage meter. Create and print labels as needed. To assist with recruitment, orientation, and off-boarding of employees. To print, sort and attach cover sheets to applications. To coordinate applicant interviews, including times, dates, and location. To complete reference checks and criminal background studies and MVR’s on new employees. To coordinate and schedule the initial orientation of EON employees. To prepare orientation materials in preparation for new hire orientation. To send out and conduct exit interviews with employees who terminate employment. To strategize and implement current and cutting-edge marketing techniques and resources. (i.e.: social media, advertisement materials, job fairs, open interviews, presentations, etc.) To Assist the HR Director To assist in the correspondence of communication and educational materials regarding the benefits package for all employees.
