Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks and possess knowledge of medical and dental terminology. The Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth admissions processes and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from individuals seeking treatment for substance use and mental health disorders. Conduct initial screenings to assess the client's needs and determine the appropriate level of care based on established criteria. Collaborate with clinical staff to schedule assessments and appointments for incoming clients. Maintain communication with the treatment team to ensure seamless transitions for clients entering the program. Complete intake documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations throughout the intake process. Serve as an advocate for clients, addressing their questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Provide information about our treatment programs and services to assist clients in making informed decisions about their care. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent education required 2 years’ experience in related field Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Professionalism Known of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Must pass background check and drug screen Join our team as an Admissions Coordinator to contribute to the efficient functioning of our admissions process while providing exceptional service to our patients!
