Job Overview: As a Manager at Cub Foods, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales within our retail environment. You will lead a team of dedicated individuals to deliver a personalized grocery experience while upholding our commitment to quality and community support. Duties: - Manage retail operations including inventory control, cash handling, and sales management. - Conduct administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining store standards. - Lead and motivate team members through coaching, training, and performance evaluations. - Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. - Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process to build a skilled workforce. - Implement retail math principles to optimize pricing strategies and promotions. - Foster a positive work environment that promotes diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all employees. Qualifications: - Previous experience in retail management is preferred. - Proficiency in inventory control and cash handling procedures. - Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively. - Experience in interviewing and selecting qualified candidates. - Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet targets in a retail setting. - Knowledge of wireless sales or related technology is a plus. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. - Understanding of retail math principles for pricing strategies.
