Do all necessary safety checks daily Control shot blast media levels Properly clean and maintain PPE Follow schedule provided by paint lead Sets up portable ventilators, exhaust units, ladders and scaffolding. Operates lifting and moving devices to move equipment or materials to access areas to be blasted Understands waste management and clean up procedures Have a basic knowledge of blue print reading What are we looking for in a quality Sand Blaster candidate? Can lift up to 50 lbs. Is able to bend, crawl and be on feet for 8 plus hours per work day High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) OR any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
