Owensboro Catholic Schools is seeking a full time teacher for 4th grade. The successful candidate must be faith-filled, dynamic, compassionate, energetic, and willing to work collaboratively in a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and a valid State of Kentucky teaching certificate or in the process of receiving certification. Essential Job Functions Provide daily instruction for students. Use best practices to provide effective instruction and positive, consistent classroom management. Communicate with students, parents, and other stakeholders in a professional and positive manner. Function as a cooperative, productive team member at OCS Support and uphold the philosophy and mission of the Catholic Church and the Owensboro Catholic School System. The successful candidate must pass criminal background check and complete safe environment training for the Diocese of Owensboro before employment can be granted.
