JOB SUMMARY: Work with the In-Line Thermoforming, Extruder machines and Off Line Thermoforming to ensure machinery is running at optimum efficiency. Work along with his/her team in order to comply with the production needs in terms of quality, efficiency and operational cost. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and notify any unsafe conditions to Shift Supervisor, shift engineer, Manufacturing Manager and Safety Coordinator. Direct responsible for the production and maintenance process in the machines assigned. Lead, get support and give guidance about production process, machine set up, change overs and machines repairs (Hands on) that needs to be done to comply the production work order within the timeline, order, and quality required. Compliance the PMP = Production Master Plan. Responsible to assure the use of the correct materials in all the machines assigned according with the bill of materials in the WO’s. Assure his/her team is continuously fulfilling procedures generated by the company, including but not limited to: Set/Up, change overs, GMP’s, safety, quality, packaging specs, etc. Ensure every single mechanism in the machines works properly to achieve the production goals. Analyze its productivity and proceed with the follow up needed. Check permanently the machines, molds and auxiliary equipment to determine in advance, possible damages or repairs that need to be performed. Execute the repairs (Hand on). Obtain from the operators and technical operators the information about problems, damages and faults in the machines to provide the correct solutions y/o spare parts information needed. Direct responsible for making fine adjustments, improvements and manage the operational standard parameters in the assigned machines for current and new products. Perform all the maintenance activities such as cleaning, inspection, lubrication and correctives routines to get the machines, molds and auxiliary machines in the best possible condition Participate in preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance according to priorities and instructions given from Shift Engineer Responsible for maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift (5’s conditions, physical line clearance, paint). Direct responsible to assure all the information filled in correctly (Physically or in the system). Included but not limited to production sheets, Efficiency system (Shop Logix), Baan fusion, cleaning forms, inspection forms, maintenance WO, parallelism, etc. If needed: Pack product and make boxes ensuring safe, legal and quality products through assessment, inspections and verifications of processes at all stages of manufacturing. Perform quality checks according to established procedures utilizing various measurement such as scales, micrometers, height gauges and various attribute gauges to ensure all standards are being met. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a machine operator for thermoforming and extrusion of plastics for food packaging industry. Technical degree, preferably in mechatronic, mechanical or electrical. B SHIFT: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
