The Marketing Specialist I will support the team responsible for promoting Carilion’s services to the community. This role requires a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual. The specialist will:
· Facilitate the onboarding of new physicians by managing database entries, updating web-based profiles and locations, and maintaining lists of locations and specialties.
· Assist the department by implementing marketing plans, collaborating with vendors and leaders on various projects while working under supervision.
· Contribute to projects involving web content entry, data gathering and analysis, vendor management, research, writing and creative brainstorming
What We Require:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: One year of general communications- or marketing-related experience required. Experience within specialized area strongly preferred. Completion of a Master’s degree in a related field with demonstrated relevant experience may substitute for experience requirement.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Demonstrated analytical thinking and interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team environment and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Lawson knowledge preferred. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities.
