Job Summary: As an Embroidery Operator through Graham Personnel Services, you will play a pivotal role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of embroidery machinery. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of product quality and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: • Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate embroidery machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Quality Control: Monitor the production process, inspect products, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine issues, such as jams or malfunctions, to minimize downtime.
• Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products as required.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, including machine logs and production reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Embroidery Machine Operator Responsibilities: • Analyzing and understanding project specifications and LT’s needs before starting each embroidery project.
• Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project.
• Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process.
• Carefully reading instructional manuals to ensure smooth troubleshooting and repair processes.
• Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
• Providing suggestions regarding the design, placement, and fabric and thread selection.
• Drawing guides or pinning tissue paper patterns onto fabric.
• Keeping track of work orders and updating records.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a related manufacturing role is preferred.
• Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow them rigorously.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lifting and moving materials, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for operating machinery.
