Job Details Description
We are seeking a SAP Project Manager to join our team in the machinery manufacturing industry, based in Greer, South Carolina. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a SAP Project Manager, you will be primarily tasked with the implementation of various SAP modules, bridging the gap between IT, operations, consultants, and customers. Your role will also require strong technical acumen and leadership skills, with a willingness to be fully engaged and hands-on in the role.
Responsibilities:
Manage the implementation of several SAP modules in the machinery manufacturing setting
Communicate effectively with IT, operations, consultants, and customers to ensure smooth implementation processes
Utilize strong technical acumen of SAP and Manufacturing to drive project success
Display strong leadership skills to effectively manage tasks and guide teams
Actively engage in tasks, demonstrating a willingness to get hands-on with project work
Use IT project management skills to ensure the efficient completion of projects
Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary
Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and professionally
Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications
Be open to flexibility in work schedule, including potential work outside standard hours as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in SAP project management within the machinery manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies and best practices
Proficiency in the use of SAP software and systems
Ability to lead and manage project teams to deliver results within set timelines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project needs
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Relevant professional qualifications, such as PMP certification
Familiarity with the manufacturing industry's standards and regulations
High level of attention to detail and quality
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members.
