About the Position A typical day as an Associate Accountant at Swine Vet Center might include the following: Manage and process expense reporting and mileage reimbursements. Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts at month end. Assist in preparing the monthly financial statement packet to be delivered to the Partner group. Process accounts receivable for smaller scale entities. Post and process for payment accounts payable transactions. Assist with the preparation and calculation of incentive programs. Assist with special projects within the office. Assist with vet projects, as needed. Qualifications An associate's degree in accounting (or greater); or related field is required. 3 to 5+ years of related experience is required. Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), QuickBooks and other various software packages. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and client service skills, regardless of interacting with others via phone, email or in-person. Maintain the highest standards and possess the relevant skills to handle confidential data. Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player through communication, collaboration, active listening, and problem-solving.
