Job Overview We are looking to employ an Entry Level Accounting/HR Clerk with outstanding clerical, communication, data entry, and cash handling experience. The Accounting/HR Clerk is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should be able to accurately follow instructions, with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.This is a split role, 50% in accounting/50% HR. Responsibilities Accounting Clerk Reconcile money pouches on a weekly basis. File accounting records as assigned. Key in accounting records as assigned into excel spreadsheets. Vehicle runs as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Human Resources Clerk Track, maintain and ensure all employees receive re-training in Prevention & Support, Article 9, Wheelchair Lift & Tiedowns, Bloodborne Pathogens, and other mandated training, prior to expiration date via excel. Ensure completion of all re-training via submittal of Signature Sheets and/or training certificates for filing in employees personnel files (paper and electronically). Track all orientations to homes. Back up to receptionist on specified days. Open, sort and distribute incoming mail. Strict adherence of the AZTEC Secrecy Agreement and Confidentiality Statement. This includes notification to supervisor of others violating the agreement and/or statement, etc. Other duties as assigned. Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate required. Experience : Minimum of one year of clerical office experience is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong cash handling skills the ability to count money and make changes. Abilities : Must be able to possess and maintain a Level-One Fingerprint Card. Must have the ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in operating basic office equipment, i.e., copy machine, fax machine, telephone, calculator, and computer Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 10-Key required. Ability to relate and respond effectively in a professional manner. Ability to follow up on required data in a timely manner. Physical : Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, and stand for long periods of time and keyboard. Driving : Required to drive AZTEC vehicles. When applicable, must do so in a safe and careful manner, following all Arizona Department of Transportation laws, as well as applicable AZTEC Policies & Procedures. Maintain an Arizona Class D driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Notify Human Resources Department of any infractions/suspensions affecting driver's licenses.
