JPI is seeking a mid-level project manager who possesses equally- developed skills and proven success in Information Technology (IT)-specific portfolio, program, and project management, translating business strategy into technology decisions, process standardization/improvement, and risk management. Responsibilities Include
• Implementing program and project management practices, processes, and procedures
• Assisting with project governance, including verifying time, budget, risk/issue and impact assumptions throughout project execution.
• Reporting on project activities, risks, issues, scope, and progress to executive management, and keeping project teams and decision makers moving toward consistent, business and/or mission focused goals and objectives.
• Defining and sequencing projects that incrementally deliver program capabilities while managing overall implementation risk.
• Developing and implementing summary project report structures and project success metrics.
• Managing projects through all required governance processes and boards, ensuring all required deliverables are completed for each process.
• Providing consultation in the implementation of best practices for troubled projects/programs with respect to root cause and corrective actions, risk planning and prevention mechanisms.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field (Business Management, Finance, Information Technology, etc.)
• 7+ years (or 5+ years and a Master’s degree) of relevant experience delivering IT projects, with experience supporting the day-to-day requirements within the government sector, to include supervising a team.
• Industry standard project management certification(s) such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master
• Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups to achieve IT goals and objectives and delivering successfully on product requirements.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience reviewing deliverables to deliver high-quality results and work products.
• Direct client management within a complex, highly technical government IT organization with multiple service leads/points-of-contact, operating against multiple strategic business objectives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including technical writing/editorial experience, and senior executive leadership engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience and expertise with government financial regulators (e.g., CFPB, SEC, FFIEC, FDIC, OCC, FRB, and NCUA) and/or financial services organizations (Banks, Credit Unions, etc.)
• Experience shaping business development opportunities and guiding potential clients towards corporate objectives.
• SharePoint site management experience.
• Team leadership / task management experience
• Existing Clearance or Public Trust

Expected compensation for this role is between $75,000 - $115,000, including a generous benefits package with comprehensive healthcare coverage. Please note that final compensation is dependent on a variety of factors and is reviewed regularly for both internal and external equity considerations.
