Position Overview:
The Product Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing various components and systems for our company's products. These products include equipment for the manufacturing, hydraulics, and cement industries and utilize diesel engines, power transmission, electrical circuits, sensors, and electro-hydraulic controls. The candidate must have a strong understanding of product engineering and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop new products and components, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions for manufacturing, hydraulics, and cement equipment
• Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate product performance and make necessary improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation for products, including drawings, specifications, and manuals
• Provide technical support to production teams to ensure successful implementation of new products
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in product engineering to continuously improve our products
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of experience in product engineering, preferably in the manufacturing, hydraulics, or cement industries
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, power transmission, electrical circuits, sensors, and/or electro-hydraulic controls
• Experience with testing and analyzing product performance
• Proficient in CAD software and technical drawing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
