Full and Part-Time
General Description
The City is accepting applications for a full-time position and part-time positions. These positions require waterworks certifications and performs skilled work in the operation of the Water Treatment Plant, treating raw water and producing potable water in an efficient and effective manner, as defined by State and Federal guidelines.
Requirements/Preferences
The position requires a Class 1 Waterworks Operators license. Also, possession of a valid Virginia driver’s license with a good driving record preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is DOQ (Dependent on Qualifications) in both the full and part-time positions. In the full- time position, the City offers a generous benefits package including health insurance, life insurance, VRS retirement, paid leave and holidays. Following a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a physical examination and drug test.
