Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
The Sports Science Specialist for Football will manage and coordinate daily operations of the Catapult GPS tracking system, as well as other necessary sports science technology systems. This position will be responsible of daily operation of GPS tracking system, distribution and collection of GPS tracking devices, creation of daily metrics reports, and communication of reports with relevant UGAAA staff (sports medicine, athletic coaches, and strength & conditioning).

Physical Demands
Regularly sit, stand for extended periods of time. Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components. Driving as needed to perform job duties.

Daily operation and maintenance of GPS tracking system. Daily distribution and collection of GPS tracking devices (application of appropriate equipment). Daily running and monitoring of live tracking during practice and competition.

Analyze and interpret data collected from practices and competitions. Develop algorithms to determine trends and predict outcomes. Creation and distribution of daily data reports for both team practice and competitions.
