It’s time to look at Taylor.Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a 1st Shift Equipment Operator to join the Finishing Department at Corporate Graphics Commercial! You will be responsible for operating equipment that produces hardcover books.Your Responsibilities:Properly set up the casemaker equipment to the specifications required, and operate the machine producing the best quality product possible in a productive mannerRead and interpret work orders, blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machineryMaintain the equipment in good working condition through a regular maintenance scheduleMaintain a clean and organized work areaAccurately maintain a daily production sheet and properly log all production information and material into the Hagen systemPerform any other duties as required by the supervisorYour Shift:1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pmYou Must Have:Ability to set adjust machinery to required tolerancesHigh degree of mechanical abilityAbility to read and write EnglishBasic mathematical skills & ability to read measurements with a rulerWe Would Also Prefer:High School Diploma/GED1+ year experience in production or as an equipment operatorGood color discernmentAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor’s family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
