Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of goods in a manufacturing setting. They will utilize their mechanical engineering skills, as well as their knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, MRP, Infor CSI, Roads, Pavement, and QRM to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts
• Utilize SolidWorks and CAD software to create and modify designs
• Implement and maintain MRP systems to optimize production efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and quality
• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives using QRM techniques
• Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and equipment
• Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and MRP systems
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the roads and pavement industry
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
