Description
We have an immediate opening for a motivated Contracts Specialist. Qualified candidates must possess at least 3+ years of experience in the federal contracting space. The ideal candidate would also be well versed in GSA schedules, NDA’s, TA’s, proposal support, and ensuring compliance with FAR, DCAA, etc.

Responsibilities Include
• Assist Senior Consultant to oversee the corporate contracts management program and develops, builds upon, and strengthens the program with continual process improvement and redesign efforts
• Tracks all tasks and required actions on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Manages the coordination and maintenance of federal and commercial contracts through full contract lifecycle to ensure compliance with client requirements and federal regulations
• Reviews, advises, and negotiates complex federal or commercial contracts with external partners
• Corresponds and coordinates with federal Contracting Officers (COs), Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs), and other client POCs on all contractual matters
• Develops General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS)-related, submissions (e.g., GSA eOffers, eMods), activities (e.g., price adjustments, Mass Mods/Pricelist maintenance via SIP), and leads and participates in all GSA-initiated Audits/Assessments activities.
• Works with Director of Finance to manage the annual small business subcontracting plan updates and submission to GSA
• Works with Director of Finance to manage and submit Service Contract Reporting (SCR) in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov)
• Demonstrates expertise with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) standards; capable of ensuring full compliance with all contractual documentation
• Researches new laws and proposed legislation to interpret potential impacts on current and future contracts
• Supports configuration and process management for all document repositories and databases
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DCAA, etc. and contract finance requirements, and identify corporate solutions to meet compliance
• Coordinate with Program Managers to provide guidance on contractual requirements and ensure contract requirements are fulfilled
• Provides guidance to management team on contracts administration best practices, concepts, and regulations.
• Assists onboarding new team members and training existing team members on new tasks as necessary
Proposal Coordinator
• Supports the proposal process to ensure compliant and timely responses to client Request for Information (RFIs) / Sources Sought Notices (SSNs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) / Request for Quotes (RFQs)
• Supports the corporate proposal coordination program by reviewing all FAR / DFAR clauses for potential impacts to the response
• Leads proposal color team reviews to include scheduling, distributing content for review, consolidation reviewer inputs, and managing virtual reviews
• Interfaces with external proposal support resources on proposal related efforts and tasks
• Develops, builds upon, and strengthens the proposal compliance and pricing processes as part of continual process improvement efforts.
Requirements
• Ability to negotiate, author, execute, manage contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and purchase orders cradle to grave and provide contracting subject matter expertise
• Experience managing GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) management / updates /audits / evergreen process
• Experience with small business subcontracting plan(s)
• Knowledge of Service Contract Reporting (SCR) in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov)
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR Clauses, business development, proposal / grant writing
• Technical, professional, and business writing
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Capability to work independently and in team settings
• Ability to proofread, edit, revise, and finalize documents of varying lengths and styles
• Bachelor's degree
