Job Title: Lead Construction Superintendent
Location: Sarasota, FL
Hours: Full-Time
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Base Salary Range: $150k-$160k base
Position Overview: The Lead Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing the overall construction process for a $120M project involving mid/high-rise (10+ stories) work as well involving extensive concrete & tunnel form.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the construction process from the start to finish
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all materials and supplies needed for the project are available.
• Oversee and manage the work of subcontractors and ensure that all work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise during construction.
• Provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders on progress and status of the project.
• Monitor projects costs and budgets to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Ensure that all construction complies with local and federal regulations and codes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mid/high rise and concrete with tunnel form being a bonus
• Knowledge of local and federal construction codes and regulations.
• Excellent project management skills with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
