Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, or a related field. Additional Requirements: Licensed Social Worker preferred but not required, successfully complete background check and have a valid driver’s license. Salary : $50,000 - $60,000 a year NUMAS Haus is seeking a dedicated Case Manager who is responsible for day-to-day coordination of program components in support of residents, as they work towards self-sufficiency and obtain housing. Conducts phone interviews/assessments for potential residents. Supports, encourages, advocates for, monitors, and holds residents accountable to their individual goals and program goals. Holds residents accountable for house upkeep. Documents all necessary case notes, completes intakes, ongoing orientations, resolves inter-residency conflicts, leads house meetings with residents and other duties related to case and shelter management. Monitors and assists in shelter upkeep. Conducts outreach in the community, participates in meetings with community partners, and supports and develops programming. Assists with donations, marketing, and coordinating volunteers. Supports organization and program operations by independently performing general office duties and fundraising tasks, as needed. Participates in bi-weekly after hour on-call rotation. Case Manager maintains client confidentiality in all situations, while upholding all ethical and moral obligations, documents service delivery, as needed; transports residents and completes other work assignments using private vehicle (mileage reimbursement); provides services to residents and children; and performs other duties as assigned. Nature and Scope: NUMAS Haus provides safe, temporary housing for homeless women, with or without children. The program develops and provides internal and external resources in support of residents’ goals of obtaining housing and long-term stability. The program also provides on-going case management for families who complete the NUMAS Haus program for up to two years after moving into their own housing. Physical Effort: This position requires moderate physical exertion. The person may physically inspect sleeping quarters which may require moving of small furniture. Some cleaning and light maintenance may also be needed along with the use of a stepladder and climbing of stairs.
