Overview Red Sun Farms is one of the largest fully vertically integrated, high-tech greenhouse growers in North America. Our Operations Team is looking for a Quality Control and Inventory Coordinator to join our Dublin, Virgina location. Main Responsibilities: · Assists with coordinating and verifying accurate data and reporting to provide pertinent information for cost analysis and improve the functions of the operations through planning and execution of company programs. · Liaise with the pack department and Distribution Center concerning any quality issues relating to product allocated for orders or packing. · Monitors the quantity and quality of output product to ensure that it meets company targets and customer standards. · Utilizes Hortimax for labor tracking and production. Ensures employees are clocking in and out of the system as well as per row and/or per task. · Supports Line Leaders to ensure workers are following harvest and pack procedures in accordance with customer & management specifications. · Communicate and coordinate quality standards and activities with greenhouse and packhouse. · Understands and follows all company, Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, and other related policies and procedures. · Performs root cause analysis when required and prepares corrective entries. · Acts as back up for Food Safety Coordinator and supports testing, monitoring, reporting and internal and external audits. · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Associate’s degree with commensurate years of experience as required below · Experience in the produce industry preferred · Proficient with Microsoft Office and labor tracking software (PPlus, Priva Assist, HortiMaX) · Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety/Food Safety policies and procedures. · Possesses a high degree of professionalism with the ability to work with discretion and confidentiality in all company matters · Ability to work independently, multi-task, manage competing priorities, and meet all deadlines.
