Responsible for maintaining proper package weights and ensuring those statistical targets are met.  Works from verbal and written instructions and performs without close supervision. Work requires mathematics and elementary statistical interpretation.  The work is generally a monitoring activity, but it requires judgment of the quality characteristics of the product.  Errors are not readily detectable and could involve substantial cost.  The work is moderately varied since it involves four different production lines. Computer knowledge is necessary.Job Responsibilities:Production:Records line down time classified by cause and machine. Attends to minor line malfunctions:  cleans jams in equipment – following proper LOTO procedures, removes defective packages, cleans equipment for proper function, starts and stops machinery, help with smash up in cover machine. Adjusts line speed to maximize line performance Utilize Quality Suite program for weight control and follow the necessary run rules. Line Salvage Responsible for entering OEE data. Perform end of line grading at prescribed frequency. Foil roll change & lot tracking Assisting all other areas of the room, as needed.Sanitation:Assists in cleaning pipes and equipment during changeovers. Completes full sanitation as required. Performs housekeeping in work area and keeps area clean. Performs interdictive cleaning at the required frequencies.Quality:Performs periodic quality checks:  seals, package integrity and square cartons. Performs weight control All required lab samples must be pulled and labeled. Temperature chart and product temperature must be monitored. Follow all GMPs. Follow QRMP Quality Systems.Safety:Follow all general safety rules. Use caution around moving equipment. Use all appropriate LO/TO. Complete BOS scans as scheduled. Refer to the Kraft Heinz handbook for Performance Standards and Guidelines.Lifting Requirements:Light – Handles up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. infrequently.Working Conditions:Fair – Very noisy environment.
