Job Type:RegularThe Packager is the final stage in the Agropur production process. This position is responsible for bagging the ingredients and ensuring it meets standard production requirements. As well as properly sealing and stacking the package to meet each customer’s needs.Job Summary:The Packager is the final stage in the Agropur production process.  This position is responsible for bagging the ingredients and ensuring it meets standard production requirements. As well as properly sealing and stacking the package to meet each customer’s needs.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Bagging of Product in 50 pound bags, 25 KG bags or 40 pound boxes as well as pushing / pulling products weighing up to 170 pounds.Be able to work at floor level, waist level and shoulder level repetitively.Loading bags or boxes to the dryer.Take samples of powder.Weigh the product and adjust the product levels to match the exact weight.Move pallets in and out of rooms using a pallet jack.Use metal detector to scan product.Number the packages with marker.Be able to move up and down ladders and stairs.Perform job tasks with adherence to all company standard operating procedures.Complete work timely, efficiently, and with optimal quality standards.Conduct work in a safe manner and abide by all company safety policies.Maintain a clean work environment to meet good manufacturing practices.Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings.Other Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.Safety ProtocolStop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.Correct or report any observed safety hazards.Support safety policies and programs.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Qualifications:Education Required:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience Required:Minimum one (1) year of related experience an asset, but not required.Knowledge of HACCP and FDA preferred.Certification/Licensure Required:NoneSkills Required:Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Communicate well both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.AA/EEO – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityTo get a glimpse of our daily operations, visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZfwiiAkIDg                                                                                  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hta0RD5hx_U                                                                                  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkydMxzbEEIAgropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
