Key duties and details for Packhouse Lead:
· Assists the Production Supervisor in organizing the daily pack work, including organizing the required product and packing materials to operate efficiently
· Monitors employees to ensure they carry out their work effectively and safely
· Monitors the quality of output product to ensure that it meets company and customer standards
· Makes labor assignments according to employee’s skills and strengths
· Pay rate: $16-$16.25/hr
· Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 7:30am-4pm
· Paid weekly
Qualifications for Packhouse Lead:
· Previous produce pack-line experience preferred
· 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
· Strong attention to detail required
· Problem solving skills
· Ability to lift 25 lbs and ability to stand/walk for an extended amount of time
· Good color acuity required
· Ability to work in extreme temperatures, (hot in packhouse/greenhouse and cold in cooler)
· Diploma/GED
