The Athens Rock Lobsters are an exciting new professional minor league hockey team based in Athens, Georgia. Competing in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL), we are set to bring thrilling hockey action to our fans in a state-of-the-art arena located in downtown Athens. As a brand-new team, we are building a dynamic and passionate organization dedicated to excellence both on and off the ice. POSITION INFORMATION
Seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Athens for our 2024-2025 Internship Program. As a rapidly growing company in minor league sports, we look forward to welcoming new team members who are eager to learn and contribute. We aim to expand your knowledge across all aspects of our operations. Your responsibilities will be diverse, providing exposure to every facet of our business. You'll receive comprehensive training, engage with patrons and clients, participate in business meetings, and conduct prospecting activities. MUST HAVES
• A business or sales background is preferred, but not required: The ability to learn and apply yourself when faced with challenges is paramount to succeeding in this position.
• A hard work mentality: Sales techniques and other job aspects can be taught, but being driven by success and possessing a strong work ethic are essential traits.
• The "Intangibles,” we seek individuals with a growth-minded attitude, a friendly and outgoing personality, and those who align well with our company culture.

As a small business, you’ll engage in diverse tasks contributing to our success:
• Represent the Rock Lobsters at games and events as needed.
• Collaborate with the business development and sales team to generate innovative sales strategies.
• Support community outreach and corporate partnership initiatives.
• Foster positive relationships across the entire team, from leadership to operations.
• Engage daily with both operational and sales aspects of our business.
• Fulfill any other duties necessary to maintain our commitment to excellence.
