Job Summary
The Peer Support Recruiter develops and executes recruiting strategies specific to hiring Peer Support Specialists for the field of behavioral health AND/OR substance use disorders. Peer support specialists are individuals who have lived experience with mental health issues or substance use disorder(s) and have a minimum of one year of recovery. The Peer Support Recruiter will create a “pipeline” of applicants by creating professional relationships with community stakeholders and attending community-based career and hiring events.
Skills/Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree (or higher) in the field of Human Resources Management, Marketing, Business Administration or Healthcare preferred.
• 1-2 years of full cycle recruiting experience preferred.
• Must be in recovery from Alcohol or Drugs and/or GMH for equal to or greater than 1 consecutive year.
• Experienced in managing applicant databases preferred.
• Experienced in applicant tracking systems preferred.
• Experienced in candidate sourcing solutions preferred.
• Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing).
• Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
