Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a School Psychologist for a position in the Athens, GA area. This role will involve providing essential psychological support to students within a school environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs
• Collaborating with school staff and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Providing counseling and intervention services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student concerns
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of school-wide initiatives to enhance student well-being
Requirements:
• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Georgia
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
